Carolyn

Dear future daughter,

I am like other future mothers who want the best for their children. I know I will not be able to be with them 24/7 as they grow older, but I want to provide them with a strong foundation that will serve as a guide to help them effectively navigate this chaotic and crazy world.

Many qualities that I want her to have are the qualities that I have achieved or would want myself.

I want her to be able to think critically about the societal systems put in place and question their motives and impacts whether positive or negative.

I want her to actively think about the media and not be a passive watcher or reader.

Most importantly, I want my daughter to be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy, because it’s difficult to do anything else without health.

Your future mother,
Carolyn
